who we are
Youth For Change is a global youth-led coalition of youth activists working in partnership with organisations and governments to tackle gender-based violence and create positive change for girls, boys, young women and young men. We launched in 2014 and currently have youth teams based in Bangladesh, the UK & Tanzania.
We believe young people have unique insights, experiences and recommendations that can make decision making more effective. Our mission is to ensure young people are influencing policy decisions that affect their lives and help to realise their rights.
why young people?
We are the new generation, so youth participation is key to creating a better future. Almost half the world’s population is under 25 - if we unite and take a leadership role, we can inspire and instigate real change.
