We're very excited to announce that Youth For Change will be attending the African Girl Summit, taking place in Lukasa, Zambia between 27th - 29th November!
The African Girl Summit will bring together decision makers from national governments, representatives of international institutions and youth advocates, with the aim sharing success stories, challenges and learning around the fight against female genital mutilation (FGM) and child & early forced marriage (CEFM).
Youth For Change will be represented by Hirut, Kiram, Upendo and Neema from Ethiopia and Tanzania Teams. They'll be joining with young people from a whole load of fantastic organisations to showcase the amazing work young people are doing to further girls' rights globally.
How can you get involved?
Youth For Change are collecting your voices to make sure that as many young people as possible can feed into this Summit and are hear loud and clear by decision makers. Your recommendations will form part of our awareness raising during the Summit.
We want your view!
1. What should governments be doing to stop CEFM and FMG?
2. How can young people help to stop CEFM and FGM?
