From 25 November, the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women, to 10 December, Human Rights Day, the 16 Days of Activism against Gender-Based Violence Campaign is a time to galvanize action to end violence against women and girls around the world.
We're marking 16 Days of Activism by challenging you to submit pictures that you think represent 'youth activism to end gender-based violence'.
They could be inspirational photos, illustrations, drawings, paintings or infographics. The only criteria is that the picture represents youth activism against gender-based violence in some way, and that you hold the legal copyright (e.g. it's your own image), or have permission to use the image. Find information on how to use images found online here. Find full terms and conditions for the competition here.
Share your images:
- On Facebook or Twitter @YouthForChange, with the hashtag #16DaysYouth.
- Send via email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Please let us know your first name, age and location, as well as some information about your images.
The winner will be chosen at the end of 16 Days of Activism, and will be featured one our website homepage and social media channels for 1 month!
